Need a laptop drive Dell d610

I have a Dell d610 Latitude, and the hard disk is playing up. Machine is dead slow. I've tracked the problem to the hard disk, by imaging the disk to an identical drive (same manuf / batch / capacity). The new drive gets the machine back to decent-ish speeds. I tried formatting the old disk, proper long format. then imaged the drive back over. It works, but is just as slow.

But the Dell cannot have my drive, as the Dell is a work machine and the spare drive is mine. Therefore I need to buy a new laptop drive which work must pay for.

Interface is ATA100 as far as I can tell, not sure if ATA133 drives exist in 2.5 inch format. I would like to use the opportunity to get away from 30MB/sec, so looking for suggestions as to what I can use. Remember SATA is no good to me.

Any replies and links to benchmarks appreciated.

Problem is there aren't many 7200rpm 2.5" HDDs available with an IDE interface these days, Segate's 7200.2s for example are SATA only. You might be able to find the odd 7200.1 still about but they only go up to 80Gb.
