I filled up just for you guys. 24.2 MPG, not bad considering I have been putting my foot down a bit and my commute is all country lanes.

I dont think the fuel consumption on the IS300 is an issue. It's roughly similar to that of the IS200.
The reason why the IS200's fuel consumption is considered crap is because it drinks like a big V6 yet delivers a pathetic 150bhp and is slow.
The IS300 doesnt have this problem, its consumption is in-line with its capacity, power and performance.
