Need a new ID quick, options?

So the credit card processor on my websites require a new ID as part of KYC ( know your customer ) the last one I sent is out of date

I have two issues, i dont generally require an ID in my life, I don't drive and never been abroad

They need this ID by 5th October

I could renew my DVLA, but they require a passport

I could get a passport, but that will take 3 weeks

national ID card requires a referee, with a generic list of people, non I know ( accountant, baker, butcher, sailor etc )

any other options I've missed?

Photo ID will be tricky. When you say DVLA you mean driver's licence photo card right? Might be able to fast track it. Not something I have experience of. I know passport renewals can be sped through, know this thanks to the Passport Service losing my newly minted passport and not bothering to let me know it was lost before it even got posted... Got one within a week.

Edit: Thinking about it I would be on to your account manager and asking for an extension to provide this. They were happy with providing you credit facilities last week so what's another week or two to them? Remind them there are other credit processing companies out there while you're at it

I shall go post office, they handle the picture taking and the forms, send it off to dvla, and hope they sent it in a week, best bet at moment

yeah possibly, although they asked for " passport, driving licence or goverment issued ID " and not sure the national ID card is strictly goverment, plus it takes about a week to see the doctor anyway haha
