No probs matey, dont forget you can use winflash to do it from windows, not as safe in reality but less chance of screwing up :D

yeah will use winflash, lets hope nothing goes wrong this time!
i need some thermal compound for the cpu and heatsink now dont i since when i take all the parts off from my old mobo the heatsink and the cpu will be separted so will i need thermal compound thingy?lol...im such a n00b :p

You will need some AS5 (Arctic Silver 5), its about £5 a tube last time I looked ;) That replaces your thermal pad on your cooler (if its a standard cooler you have ;))

yup its a standard cooler. the artic silver 5 is £12 includind delivery :( !!
would any thermal compound do?saw some thermal compound from a competitors site for 46p!

AS5 is the daddy, can make a difference, but it depends on how mad you are to keep your temps down, otherwise the cheap stuff will do :p

lol.yeah ordered some thermal compound from competitors.not too fussed about overclocking, the thermal compound was only 46p so at that price i just couldnt refuse!! :p

got the board yesterday, installing it all later. was wondering do i need a Sata disk set up thing or does it just pick up that my hard drive is Sata?

how much thermal paste do i need on the cpu?

cheers
