Need a new phone/network/contract

Hey,

Right im looking for a new contract (possibly payg) and I dont really want to pay more than about £20 - £25 a month.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Not really bothered about a new handset (still happy with my old trusty d600 .. wouldn't say no tho. Would rather have more txts/talktime than new phone)

First off pay as you go is the opposite of a contract.

It totally depends what you will use the most - 3 and T mobile are best for data. Virgin are pretty good for pay as you go. Apart from that I'd say they are pretty much of a muchness.

Well i use my phone a fair amount for mostly txts and I just want to know if going for a contract is a better option than going for payg. I'm on T-Mobile and the reception is abysmal in Scotland anyway.

Have a look at Orange, they do deals with unlimited texts.

Check what is best for you..signal wise first.

Yeah im really tempted by Orange as the reception seems really good plus i like the free text deals on the weekend. Im not sure though.

What is a good handset these days? As I might aswell get a new one if im going for a new contract anyway.

Againt it depends what you rate as important - the camera, screen, size, style etc..

Just weight really .. light is nice

Not really bothered about camers (have a gd digital one) and not bothered about mp3 player as I have an ipod.

EDIT: I might go with 02 as I can sign up for a monthly contract. Dont have to be tied down to a 12/18n month contract. Plus if I keep my own phone i can get 1500min / 400 texts a month for £15
