Hi, I am not one to upgade phones to often.....unless screen is boken, which is the case of my HTC one.
Screen does have a crack due to a fall about a year ago but did not interfere with my daily use...phone calls, text and web browsing, this is all i use my phone for...no movies or games.
Before I had the HTC one ..which is my wife's old phone, I had a Nokia Lumia 950, which i loved better than the HTC one (never really liked the HTC one )...just thought the Nokia had a great feel in the hand.
So any way the HTC screen has now shown a problem..hard to discribe..lines all over the place, I can still use it but can't live with it.(did try swapping sim)
I am on a Tesco sim only atm..£6 a month (Great lol)..1gb data which I don't go over but wouldn't want less data.
I usally would go pay monthly.. never bought a phone , I would like to pay no more than £25 per month tops, so any recommendations on a phone with a good screen display , don't mind a older solid model.
Thanks CJ

Thanks... right the Samsung I can get from Tesco £18 per month no probs there but jsmoke I take it the xiaomi would have to be bought outright somewhere...where is the best place to get the xiaomi ..also i see a lite version of the ma A2 also

Called into Tesco's, I could get the A50 for £17 per month over 36 months, compared to £18.49, Loyalty discount, only thing is some people say the speaker on the A50 is a bit "tinny"

Huawei p20 Pro is a solid option and can be had for £25 per month, less if you don't mind staged cashback deals.

I also found the Galaxy S10e for £28 per month. If you went through top cashback, that would bring the average cost to £26.50 ish, for what is an excellent, current phone (albeit not this year's model for much longer).

OK,took another trip down to Tesco's today, already had a look at the A50,nice phone but I thought it was a bit big for comfortable holding in one hand , ok if playing games and watching movies..which I don't on phone , though larger screen could help with older eyesight?
The Galaxy S10e, (can be had for about £22 per month) , about the same size as my HTC one , read some reviews saying it got hot?
Would have been nice to view the Xiaomi range, seems like I would have to buy from China.
Haven't looked at the Huawei p20 pro yet..not in Tesco, 02 in town have the p30
So that looks like my choices..just have to make one
Cheers CJ

Thanks for all the replies, went for the S10e and 1 gb....had some Tesco points,so doubled up and with "family and friends, that brought the monthly payment down to £17 per month...so happy with that.
