Need a new shooter any ideas

Hi all,

I have just upgraded my Pc and fancy a good shooter I read about the new call of duty but on Amazon it gets slated especially the multiplayer so is there anything worth getting. I onlp play one game at the moment and that's TFC 2 which I just love but any ideas would be great thanks.

COD MW is still a blast. SP MW2 is worth it too, IMO.

COD MW1 is still excellent ... and pretty cheap nowadays ..

COD4 MW 1, LFD2 CSS, UT3, UT2004 and boarderlands are my current best FPS games atm.

I have played UT half life far cry Tomb raider, I just fancy something that is great fun and with maybe a good atmoshere i love the Tomb raider exploring etc but maybe i should get one of the war games are any a decent length.

I am laughing my socks off playing "Serious Sam HD" i never played the games 1st time around, what a blast, a totally different experience to CoD's and the like which i'm finding quite refreshing.

IF you've played the usuals BF2, cs:s, cod2/4, unreal tournament then there isn't really anything new in that vein - people are waiting on bad company 2 though.


Have you tried left for dead 2? It's brilliant.

Yes I would suggest L4D2 as well. I've seen Borderlands for £12.95 today too.

is L4D2 online only or is it a singleplayer

You can play with bots but is far more fun online!
