Dunno - this made an interesting read. The reviewer rates the Xense combo highly and he thought the PC350s were poor when he reviewed them previously. What's different - the amp? Dolby Headphone? General synergy and tuning? Are the Xense PC350s different from the standard ones? Who knows.

Yes that is very interesting. I suppose it's no surprise though, given that when it comes to audio products, preferences will vary from one person to another. Still it's a good thing, someone with plenty of experience found the combination of Xense and PC350's to be a good one. It's all very well when someone with little experience saying it's a fabulous combination, but when someone with knowledge of what is good and what isn't says that, all the more reason to sit up and take note.

However, one can't ignore the fact that he thought less of the PC350's when bought on their own. Granted, it may be the sound card improves them, but it's possible that the bundled 350's are not the same as the regular 350's. Without some testing it's too hard to say where the difference lies.
