need an Emergency Vet in Nottingham!

she's over at the ever reliable PDSA of all places, currently in an oxygen tent, ive had my furry little friend for over 17 yrs, the vet's warned me she doesn't expect there to be any improvement, but i had to give pep ( my cat ) every opportunity, no matter how slim.

They asked me to sign a euthanasia form, which i have done, just in case she has another stroke during the night so she won't suffer. :(

Sorry to hear that. I know how attached I got to my deaf, lame, 15+ year old rescue cat. Only had him for less than 12 months but he was a really good pal.

It's times like this that almost make me think twice about getting a dog of my own. It's horrible when things like this happen.

Hope it works out but it doesn't sound good :(

Oh and Speedfreak, next time you come here asking for advice, I hope people say crap about you too.

Surely its time to let it go, just gonna waste a lot of money on a cat which is near the end.

indeed.

How ever it was my mothers cat, & i inherited it as it where when she died of cancer, so i'll gladly go the extra mile irrespective of cost, any thing less is disrespectful. as long as the cats not suffering or in distress, which it isn't now, then i'll give it a fighting chance.

Nice ninja edit.

I'm sorry to hear that :( 17 years is a very good age for a cat to live. I hope she doesn't suffer.
