Anyways, Zavvi are selling this for £12.95 which is a bargain.

its a bargain at that price picked it up yesterday for just over 20 pounds and im impressed with it so far .
certainly not a serious racer like gt5 but im loving chasing down with the police and then ramming them through the road blocks , only on level 3 at the moment with the coppers

It bears little or no relation to those games really. No customisation, no story mode, no free roam (except a pointless mode with nothing to do).

Races, time trials and hot pursuits, that's basically it. Yes the cars are all standard albeit they are all high performance models in the first place.

its aproach corner at full speed ,tape the drift button (brake) power slide around the corner, if corner is hairpin hold brake for 2 seconds, slide around the corner.

I thought that too, I agree it doesn't sound very good but you have to play it to decide. I took a leap of faith and bought it at full price, and was glad I did. A shame there is no demo as I think a lot of people would enjoy it but understandably don't want to buy it in case they don't.

eh? what nfs game has been like this? every other nfs game might have been arcade but it was still in touch with reality.. i remember NFS on the 3do and you had to brake for corners you didnt just tap the brake and unrealisticly slide around them like you were on a trail track and just pivoting to the side
