Hi there,

I want to buy a card before the 560 Ti deal runs out tonight at 12.

I am undecided which to get from the following:

MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 2048MB
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-140-MS

MSI HD 6970 OC 2048MB Twin Frozr III
http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-123-MS

MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr III OC 2048M
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-154-MS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=411

______

I would be using the card mostly to play BF3/SC2 on a 24" 1920×1200 until I get a new 24" and play 1920×1080 1080hd

I tried to find some reviews to compare the cards but haven't had much luck. All the sites i tried dont have 560 Ti 2GB to test other cards with. I have heard team red have driver problems but I have always had team green cards.

So any help within the hour would be great, cheers.

You have longer than that to think about it.

This Week Only offers don't change until Wednesday morning.

I suggest a HD 7850 of whatever type takes your fancy (limited in stock choice currently).

Better than a GTX 560Ti and close to a HD 6970 at stock speeds.

But then it also overclocks like a demon:

How to overclock a 7850 past 1050MHz?

You may also want to consider the GTX 570 1.28GB. It doesn't have nearly as much VRAM as the other options (except the GTX 560TI 1GB), but it does offer a lot of GPU power for your money. Also, if you will be playing at 1200p/1080p then in most cases your framerates will be limited by GPU performance, not VRAM amount.

Here is a review which compares BF3 performance between all these cards (also Cleeeecooo's review shows the same tests).

Results obviously vary but don't forget people have been overclocking the HD 7850 by nearly 50%.

When you're spending ~£200 you're going to be left with several choices that aren't going to be that much different.

If I was spending that sort of money now it would be a HD 7850.

Edit:

This recommendation assumes you're prepared to give it (and it will take) a healthy overclock.

The problem wit the 570's is they come with a 2 year warranty.

I would be overclocking it when i get new parts after ivybridge comes out.

But on the aandtech site they're reporting 7850 didnt do too well on BF3.
