Currently torn between the following models, for some MMO gaming and productivity:

Xiaomi 34
Pros: Fan of Xiaomi products, availability in early December
Cons: Doesn't seem to have tech support in Ireland

Gigabyte G34WQC
Pros: Good reviews, has support in Ireland
Cons: No USB hub (if firmware is needed, how to install?), lack of availability, priciest of the 3

Iiyama GB3461WQSU-B1
Pros: Cheapest of the 3, IPS panel, I'm already used to flat panels
Cons: Wobbly stand (I have a wobbly table). Unsure I want to miss on all the rage about curved monitors, doesn't seem to have tech support in Ireland

As you can see, these are all around 400 quid. I may consider going up in price if the upgrade is worth it (better panel, GSync, etc)

Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions are very welcome!

based on your location I'd get the Gigabyte just for the support piece of mind.

If you really need a USB hub grab something off the rainforest (yes it adds a little cost) and use that separately.

Current problem is availability. I really don't want to get on a waiting list only to find out it won't arrive before Xmas or something

Not sure if it’s the one you listed above but I recently bought the Iiyama 34” curved display. It’s connected to a gaming laptop with a 2080 Super running at 3440x1440 @ 144Hz. Absolutely spot on looks brilliant.
It was a bit of a gamble as reading the thread lots of people have had issues so I made sure to pay with a credit card and keep the box in case anything cropped up but so far so good

Yeah that's the one and it's on stock (elsewhere...). Where have you seen people reporting issues?
