Im loooking at moving over from xbox to a gaming pc and would love some help in deciding what parts to get. Ive done a little research but dont fully understand what the best stuff to get is.
My budget is around £2500 for the pc.
    I have a samsung G7 odyssey monitor which is 1440p and 240hz.
The pc will mainly be used for gaming on Warzone, call of duty, battlefield and formula 1.
Im looking at getting the lian li pc011 case.
Also not sure if best getting a 3070 or 3080 as would want to play games on 1440 at the highest fps possible.

    Thanks Kane.

You want a b550 motherboards or x570 which has pci express 4 and also you want 3600mhz memory.

5800x is just as good for 1440p gaming although intel has just relessed there Alderlake cpus which is also a very good option.

i would make the jump to the new Intel Alderlake cpu's if your budget is £2500 but also as mentioned about go for at least 3600mhz memory

with a £2500 budget you could easily fit a 3080Ti and 12900KF in. u just have to look for deals and drops

Waste of time getting the 12900k for just gaming as the 12700k does virtually the same job for 200 quid less.

This is good value at the mo if you haven't got a gpu yet....you can get them to swap the case to 011D, swap out the bronze psu to the corsair rm850x, and change the ram to 32gb 3600(crucial ballistix rgb 3600C16 or pro vengeance rgb 3600C18(slightly looser timings than the crucial but slightly cheaper). Mobo is solid and allows up to 4 m.2 nvme's(3xpciegen4, 1xpciegen3) and gpu slot is pciegen5. Also if going 011 case, change the aio to 360mm of your choice..artic II freezer best bang for buck
For £400 more you can upgrade to 3080 also if you want but 3070ti more than enough for 1440p gaming and I'd save the £400 for a future gpu upgrade down the line, or extra £150 odd means primary could be a 1tb SN750 SE, secondary 2tb SN550
