Need help with Skype for business

Hi, I need to understand the concept of Microsoft Skype for business. Is it really necessary to have a dedicated Skype service for business? If anyone is using this service, please help me.

The concept is IM with greater integration into your enterprise business services and regular telephony. What do you want to know specifically? You can use plain old free Skype in a business context but only if you accept its limitations. Similarly there are plenty of other platforms like webex, zoom, GoToMeeting, Hipchat and many, many more. Each has their pros and cons.

Hi, Thank you very much for the support. We are using the business internet connection from the ISP ThinkTel here in Toronto http://www.thinktel.ca. Last week while checking the plan details, I found they also provide Skype for business. Before going with Skype for business I need to know more details about it, that's why I asked.
