Yep... as others have said... "coil whine".

I'm assuming that you start to load up either/or your CPU/GPU about a third of the way into the recording?

I had a top of the line Tagan PSU start doing this, next thing there were sparks coming out of the back of it :eek:

Yeah thats right, about 10 sec in i turned on the occt gpu test, ill get a new one, any suggestions?
 
Some decent PSU's:

- Seasonic (as suggested by foster grant).
- Corsair.

Don't think you could go wrong (unless VERY unlucky) with either of these brands.
