Hi there!

I'm not new to PC Gaming but I am new to upgrading my computer as I'm still using the PC that was gifted to me for Christmas from my old man.

Anyway, I'm looking to upgrade the following components and quite unsure of what's best:

Graphics Card
Budget: £900
Current card: ROG Strix GeForce® GTX 106

RAM Memory
Budget: £300
Current Memory: No idea but it's 8GB :p

If it helps I have a Sabertooth Z77 motherboard, I am considering upgrading this is necessary.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

EDIT:

Current PC Specs:

SSD: 1TB SSD
HDD: 2TB HDD
PSU: WIN Power +PLUS 115V ~ 230 V / 50-60Hz / 15A (Total Power = 750W)
Mobo: Sabertooth Z77
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR3
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Case: Zalman Z11 (Looking to replace for a glass panel case)

I'd looking to upgrade because..why not? I find in some games I lack FPS, and I'd like to have any game on ULTRA with a very high stable FPS.

I'd list all the parts in the PC (including power supply brand/model) and which monitor you're using so decent advice can be given. Perhaps state the reason you want to upgrade as well. GTX 1060 is a great card for 1080p gaming.

I've edited the post with my PC specs :)

Are 1080's not worth the current price tag?

gtx 1070ti easier to stomach . what will start to lower older gen GPU is rtx 2070 but no idea when they will launch .

1080 has slight edge on power then 1070ti but its benefit is faster ram, but unfortunately the best 1080's were the 11gbps models but didn't last long

unless your doing VR, wouldn't benefit to much with the faster fill rates- rather save cash

whisper is tier 1 rest are tier 2.
bequiet is the quietest
focus has longest warranty
antec is produced by seasonic
formula is cheapest

Thanks for the feedback guys! Going to order a new PSU now. What else can I upgrade to increase the performance of my PC? (What's lacking behind)

Cheers!

650w currently OTT, but if you ever upgraded to say second hand gtx 1080ti or new 2080/vega 64 etc in future should be able to power newer more powerful cards

Whisper and Power are tier 1, other two are tier 2 units.

Bitfenix has 7 year warranty along with antec, seasonic has the longest at 10 and bequiet at 5

Thanks! Think I'll go with the power. Also do you have any suggestions what I could upgrade to increase the performance I.e ram memory etc.
