Need some help with phone choice...

So I've managed to go and bust my n900 so figure this is a nice excuse to upgrade... as I can't be surviving with the 5yr old phone I'm using as a stand-in!

However I'm absolutely rubbish at choosing phones and I've managed to whittle it down to a choice between the following 3:

Google Nexus S
iPhone 4
HTC Pro 7

But I'm still unsure as to which to go for and keep talking myself round in circles so figured I'd nip in here and ask for some advice... It's primarily going to be used for browsing sites / apps / playing some music as well as the usual phone stuff.

So which of these would you recommend? Or have I missed some super awesome phone that puts all of these to shame?

Forget the HTC Pro 7.

Between the Nexus S and the iPhone 4, the iPhone wins hands down imo.

There are only super awesome phones that put these to shame coming in the next few months, its up to you if you can wait that long.

Why does the iPhone win? I've read a lot of mixed reviews about both, but from what I've pieced together the browsing on the Nexus S is better as flash obviously opens up more content, but I'm expecting audio to be better on the iPhone? I know the iPhone currently has more Apps available but I figured with the number of handsets using Android it will surely get a lot more balanced in the near future?

After doing a bit more searching after making this post I was kinda swinging towards the Nexus S, as the Android OS kind of appeals and I couldn't really spot anything stand out with the iPhone to swing me back that way...


And yeah, I don't think I could wait... been using this stand in phone for 2 days and can already feel myself twitching through lack of features lol... makes me think how we all survived in the days before smartphones!
 
They are both good phones and the Iphone had feature lacking on the Nexus (front facing camera) but i would still go for the nexus, more flexability, fast, more apps (both phone have loads of crap apps) upgradability of rom and also "cooked roms" put the Nexus out in front imho

Are you seriously going to try and use apps as a selling point AGAINST the iPhone? Blimey.

Well thanks for the help guys. I went down to the phone shop this afternoon and had a play with a Nexus S and an iPhone 4... decided to go with the Nexus S in the end... been like a kid with a new toy all afternoon ;)
