need tips on over g fighters

Im trying to play multiplayer versus but as soon as the game starts the opponents seem to lock on and fire instantly all I can do is run, last night i was playing on live and the other guys all moaned as i joined and said oh no not turtle, he always runs away then gets shot,,lol. I dont see how I can even compete, do I need better planes or what?? BTW im loving the game apart from being crap at it ,,lol

If they complain then tell them to use something other than an F22a or F35b.

I'm not great at dodging AA missiles and even the manual states to turn and burn away from radar seeking missiles.
