hi guys,

you have given me a great advice on GPU so i thought ill get your opinion on getting a new monitor as well.

My current monitor is slowly packing up and dieing on me.

I am looking to get 24"" one, not to expensive, budget is about £200. I have been looking at few. What are BenQ monitors like? Here are few ive had my eye on, but opened for suggestions.

Ok my Benq GW2750HM is set up and the TFT central review (link above in post 2)was spot on. Terrible out the box settings so I followed the hardware calibration instructions and then downloaded the profile(user one)and installed it and followed the instructions and wow what a difference, talk about transformation. Anyway no dead pixels or backlight bleed that I can see and the blacks are amazing. Easy to use Osd and speedy. Love where the controls are on the right side edge with signs(cant think of the right word)on the front. Loving this so far.:D

Got my first one last week, (GW2750HM).
Going to buy another two when they come back on special offer.

3x 27" for my sim rig :)

Yes these look crap out of the box but use the settings in the review or download the ICC profile from the same site and it is transformed. (post #2)

Only downside I can think of is the bezels are quite thick compared to other makes etc. but at that price I will probably risk trying to remove them.
