Hi, i wonder if i could have some help. One of my ram stick's have just gone the way of the pear & i am looking to upgrade. The board i have is asus m2n-sli deluxe. The ram i have got at the mo, is corsair xms2 cm2x1024-c6400 c4. Now im having a little trouble finding this (4gb) and i am a little mixed up with different version number's and the like. Have been looking at this. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-190-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813 Is this ram compatible with my board? What is the difference between c5, c5c,c4 Thanks.

From reading sections of your manual the Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 should work fine in the m2n-sli deluxe.

I advise you to set the memory timings/frequency and voltage manually within the BIOS.

When you get the faulty memory replaced do you plan on trying to run all 4 sticks together?

What is the difference between c5, c5c,c4 Thanks.

It refers to the Cas Latency timings the Corsair XMS2 4GB for example: 5-5-5-18.
