Nero 8 any takers

Have they turned it into a full blown OS including kitchen sink yet, am really surprised at how much crap there is in Nero 7 and common logic dictates that thing can only get worse.
 
So far, the Nero StartSmart (which is the photo) seems to be streamlined and for the novice user could be easier, all the usual programs are there including Nero burning Rom, to my VERY short time using it I would say same programs different StartSmart interface.
Good (MMMMMM) Bad not sure yet, is it worth the upgrade NO (stick with Nero 7) not much has changed except the price!
Ask me in a few weeks time and I will probably say wouldn’t go back to the old version, but the old saying goes “if you never had it you will never miss it”

I've tried this Nero 8, and it's so packed with crap is unbelievable. I installed the essentials and it's fine, burns well etc, but it is really crowded if you install the full thing.
 
Ditched Nero, have no use for it now. ImgBurn and builtin Windows features do me. Why can they not just release a simple program?
 
I agree with the above, seriously BLOATED, but you can uninstall any part of the programme you don’t use, as for RSS feeds (why!)

It does look bloted, I'm just downloading the trial now to try it. Then I will decide.
 
Now thats much simplier than nero 7. If a dummy user can't use that program then who can! They just need to cut out the stupid utilites and bundle em seperate. I hate applications that are heavy!!!!
 
Tried Nero 7 for a couple of days when it first came out, and promptly went back to Nero 6

But have been using Prassi ONES for a time now, certainly won't go back to Nero....;)
