Looking at getting a netbook/laptop that I will largely use for remotely accessing my desktop through our home network so I don't have to be in my room all the time. Will also probably take it to lectures and use it for word processing and browsing. Cheaper the better really, £300ish area.
Netbooks are tempting because of their small size and the fact I don't really need anything powerful but on the other hand I'm wondering if the tiny screen size would be restrictive.
Anyone got any good recommendations?
I suppose the most important thing is that it has a good wireless connection.
