Ok, since installed my netgear PCI card to go with the DG834N router I have problems. Using the latest drivers my system would freeze completely - nothing works (ctrl-alt-del) so I have to hard reset.

Using the older drivers I get a stable system but loads of audio stuttering when playing back music unless I disable the wireless network.

Does anyone have one of these/or had issues? I'm on the case with netgear support but they're dragging their feet a bit.

It'll probably be an IRQ conflict. Try swapping cards in the pci slots about, and disable unnecessary things that share IRQs in bios - eg, parallel/serial ports.

Wish I could get that far with my two cards - a wireless, and a standard wired NIC - the computer doesn't POST with both of them in together .

Ok tried moving the PCI card to a different slot, disabled serial and parallel ports in the BIOS but no difference unfortunately. Looks like i'll have to wait for netgear to pull their finger out :(
