HAving some trouble with this, I'm configuring netscreen remote with a dial up vpn connection to an SSG 140
The VPN comes up and authenticates fine and I can ping devices from the client machine but I cannot ping the client, the netscreen remote log gives the following error when I try to ping it:
Inbound packet failed validation sourceip -> dest ip
I googled it and the only useful thing I found was to check that VPN monitor was turned off which it is
Anybody else able to shed some light?
