New 4k monitor and my 1070 is out of breath!

I'd get a used 1070, you already from Scania you can get decent frames in the one game you say you play and it's a minimal investment. I'm on 1080ti SLI 4K and upgraded to it from 980ti SLI three years ago. I found a single 1080ti insufficient going from 980ti SLI and don't think a single card of that class enough for 4K for many games. 1070 now then sell them both mid next year and buy a single card at a reasonable (hopefully) price that can handle 4k well.

Very bad move, 2070 Super is as fast is not faster and has ray tracing support.

Used I’d pay no more than £300 on a 1080Ti !
+1

100%. That is what I have been saying for a while. But people for some reason still value the 1080Ti highly and pay silly prices for it as a used card.

Do NOT get a used 1080Ti, as has been said it's a bad move, people want ridiculous prices for used cards and it's slower than a 2070S in some games like RDR2. 11GB of RAM isn't even that much of an advantage since the card will choke before you even reach that.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,828.96 (includes shipping: £0.00)

I'd personally spend the extra on the Zotac for the 5 year (vs 2 on the others) warranty.

You can actually get the Zotac 2070 Super Mini for £445 on the rainforest website atm, also comes with a 5 year warranty.

Thanks. I'll have a think!

When do the current deals run till?

Im trying to mantain as long as possible but board partners don’t want to fund any more but the pound has grown stronger which means I can get to funded pricing without their help pretty much, so it’s my plan to have at least one card always at £449 in the store.

I am debating returning my BenQ EW3270U monitor and getting something that's 1440p in the 27" or 32" bracket. Can hold on to my 1070 for the time being then.
