Hi,

I just upgraded to my new system but my old PC (still decent) gave up and won't post. It starts up keeps running but I get nothing on the screen. I thought it was the gfx card (GF 5700 LE) or the power supply (no-name brand) but it turned out to be the motherboard (Asus k8v - something). I now need a new motherboard. I also have requirements as I do a lot of digital work and I have front firewire connectors that I would really like to keep working. For that reason I need the following:

Socket 754 Mobo with Onboard 6 channel or above, internal USB and IEEE1394 connectors and an AGP slot.

Any make would suffice but I'm only looking to spend around £35 - £45 on the new mobo. Anyone know of any that fit the description. I was looking at the Gigabyte K8VT800 Pro but no-one sells it.

Any help would be brilliant.

Nick

Best 754 mobo available. Might be able to get one 2nd hand in your price range.
