Hi, test it in another PC if you can.
Got of the phone to OcUk tech support, they said the MSI one seems to be incompatible with my motherboard (Z77) so i'm going to return it and buy the sapphire version who the gentlemen says he's had and it's just as quite as the MSI one
Strange as I am running a 7950 sapphire oc bought on Friday 24th , and it's not working on the z77-d3h, whereas I just put in an old 8800gt and it works perfectly. Although the 8800 didn't work in the pci3 slot.
I have begun to think that there is a defect on the motherboard with the pci3 x16 slot.
I'm really starting to feel that the D3h was a bad choice, maybe a bit tooo inexpensive.

Just try updating your mobo BIOS to the latest version, this will probably fix your problem and save everyone a lot of time and hassle.
No way, seriously? which Sapphire one do you have? the person at OcUk said the motherboard is probably incompatible with the MSI components not....every card x.x
unless you have a magic crystal ball which goes beyond the latest drivers on the website, then I've already said I've got the latest version.

There is an F18 bios as I mentioned above. Just make sure you use q-flash and not the @BIOS method.
I have the 7950 Oc Sapphire, I have tried 'everything' to get it to work! This is my 2nd card, initially it was a 7850 reference that wouldn't work.
Suggestion: In the Bios did you activate 'Peg' its needed in order to activate 16x. In Bios look under 'M.I.T' -> misc to activate 'peg'.
then;
'peripherals' -> int display, set to 'peg'
then
disabl your onboard grphics.
Now see if your card works?
I actually think it's the board tbh, so I just ordered:

unfortunately i only ordered the motherboard from Ocuk on the 24th july along with everything else minus the GPU, so ive not got enough to buy another motherboard so soon.
