New addition to the household!

Well as I'll be moving into my new house soon and will have plenty of space, I decided to finally get me something I'd been after for ages! A new Blue Tongued Skink!

Bought him off of a girl that lived locally to me, hes only 4 months old and is quite friendly and docile. Poor girl looked very upset that she was getting rid of her lizard though.. Felt a bit guilty!

Haha.. The girl I got him from had called him Calcifer, I'm not sure whether to keep it or rename him yet!

How er long is it? Can't quite get a sense of scale from the photos.

Hes about 13 inchs from tip to tail. About half of him is tail though!

Yeh he does, but the camera on my phone is awful so theres no chance of me getting a pic with his tongue out.

Cat food.. He eats meat, insects, veg and fruit.

I was lucky, the girl accepted £150 for him, viv and lighting. I think they usually go for about £90 though. Head over to Reptile Forums UK usually people selling on lizards and kit there, lots of good info too!

I always found hamsters a bit annoying.. Probably why I like lizards instead!
