my wife gave birth this morning to an 8Lb boy at 7:03

I know it's wrong, but when I read the first line, I thought you were going to say she gave birth to a camera.

What is wrong with me?
 
Your life will never be the same again. Everything changes. But the feeling of holding my sleeping newborn child was magical. The love for your own child is a whole new kind love - unconditional and total. Enjoy fatherhood - congratulations.

Now get some sleep before they get home !

thanks for your replies.
i should have said, he is our 3rd child, (we have two girls, 11, and 8), but as you can imagine, i was dog tired as i had just been up 26hrs (as had my wife)
we have called him Adam.
 
Lots of room for siblings, Bethan, Clive, David, Edward, Fred, Gaby, Harry... you get the picture.
