Hi guys,

I am hoping some of you will be able to help me out.

I have just installed a ATi x1950pro 512mb AGP card in my system (athlon64 3400+ 2gb ram).

The PC was quite noisy soon after install and the temp was about 54c. I have removed the side panel from the PC and it is completely silent now with 49c. I am not sure if it is my PSU (Hiper HPU 4S525 or the GFX card causing the noise).

Should I look to getting a new PSU and cooling in to the system?

Also, I bought the card so I could run Pro Evo 2008 on high settings at 1360x768, however as soon as I try and boot the game up I get "no PC signal" on my monitor :( I have to hold the power button in to power down the system and then I can reboot but I have tried this a few times and the game will not start  :(

Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

Just the standard cooling that came with the system. The drivers are what came with the machine but I had downloaded the omega 38421 and was wondering if I should give that a go?

As I said when I take the side of the case off the temp drops to 49c and with it on 54c and a buzzing sound......but Pro Evo will not start at all regardless of the resolution I put it at.

Did you make sure that you totally uninstalled the Nvidia drivers?

You might even need to run some driver cleaning software to be sure.

First download and run Driver Cleaner to remove the Nvidia and ATI drivers then install the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI, also Check if you need to patch Pro Evo 2008.
