new bfg 680i wont boot.

put in :

Enermax Galaxy 850watt

Intel QX6700

2 gb Geil ddr2 ultra

bfg 8800gtx

bfg 680i sli mobo

after powering on switch on the galaxy - theres an orange light... blue light on mobo.

when hitting the switch on the case (or mobo) - theres a quick power on for a second - then it turns off.... if you try it again - theres 2 beeps coming from the power supply then the light turns red.

just took it straight out of my old system - worked fine.

any suggestions ?

ok took it apart again.

changed the cpu lead (2 x 4 pin ) instead of the 8pin one and it powered up but no screen.

gave me a post code of 7f (post error lol) really?!

then turned it off....... hit power again and its now decided not to power on again and beep.

does this sound like mobo or psu?

i dont have a spare 850watt power supply to try!
