that TDR regedit is one I've used before. Doesn't work in the majority of cases, and is dodgy according to most people.

in fact it was you gregster who said it was a workaround an underlying problem :) (only just spotted that)

And again I said the same thing here bud ;) It is just a plaster but I wouldn't consider it a bad thing. I used it long enough and had no probs from it (I still had crashes though very occasionaly).

ive manually set timings to 9-9-9-24 to see any diff, also stuck 2 sticks in 1 / 3 at the moment.

So you think it's purely the GPU at fault ?

I firmly believe it is a volt thing. In so many of these cases it is either drivers or lack of volts.

The display driver has stopped responding and has recovered is the most annoying ever as I have seen so many people with this problem and does not matter if AMD/NVIDIA they both get it. I used to think it was Windows 7 and Vista coding, as these were the only 2 operating systems it affected.

Now after more knowledge on this error, It normally boils down to 2 things...Volts or drivers.

Let me know how you get on with the 2 sticks of ram in please.
