Hi all, I've had my new car for a few weeks now and it's about time I posted a few pics. Car in question is a 2003 Daihatsu Sirion Rally 2 producing 108 bhp, weighs about 850kg and does 0-60 in around 7.8 seconds.

It's great fun to drive (I live in the country with lots of B roads), unrefined, loud and no torque! Picked it up for £ with 6 months MOT and full service history.

Yep the car is a bit marmite to look at but is solid enough and great for hooning around the B Roads. It's also something you won't see every day and replacement parts etc are not too pricey)

Averaging around about 40mpg just now and insurance wasn't bad either (£380 2yrs no claims 26 M)

Indeed, i hadnt even heard of it, let alone seen one. Good choice imo :]

Nice to see another Daihatsu owner around. Best kept secrets are the 1.3 Sirions and the Rally is tuned even more. Its also the 100th year anniversary of Daihatsu

Was this the oen where they also did the rally 4, a 4wd version? I actually really like these little things :)

If it was in black and it was a foggy day I might mistake it for a small london taxi, it has that kind of shape. But it's cool to own something different, don't think I have ever seen one before.. or I just didn't register when i did, some of the asian cars like daewoo's etc I just blank from memory :)
