New Car - Opinions And Advice

Hi folks

Finally the girlfriend and I got a new car on Sunday. A 53 plate Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec with 29,000 on the clock.

First off, we paid £5,500 for it, does this sound like a reasonable deal?

Also, we traded in an old Fiat Punto against it. What documents will we require to give the garage for it and will we need to do anythng? As in register the car in our name etc I will be asking them tomorrow anyway but just wondering if anyone could offer some advice?

You need to take the V5C (logbook) along for the punto & fill out & send off the logbook for the focus.

EDIT: Sounds like a decent deal on a good solid car.

Thanks for the replies, they are MOT'ing it before I get it so that will cover it for a year. Car is in really good nick, very few scratches inside or out, just have to wait until our cheque clears and then pick it up next Tuesday as we are away for the weekend, cant wait
