oh and its due for an Inspection 2 at 100K if its not already been done...costs a few hundred...

Not true. Uses variable servicing and even if the average interval had been observed this would make it due Inspection 1 at 90k and Oil Service at 105k.

Take it for a drive, check it dont clunk from the rear when shifting gears else driveshaft bush has prpbably gone or its rear subframe damage which is deadly on these cars and BMW never did a recall in the UK for this design fault :/
Luckily(?) that problem only appears to affect very early coupes like the 323Ci and the 328Ci. There is a huge list of people who have had the problem on another website and it appears to reduce from loads of people to next to nobody exactly after the 325Ci/330Ci came out.

Personally I would never do a 15k mile run on the same set of oil, but am sure it will clear to OP whats due if he looks in the service log book...just trying to give him good advice if he's serious about looking after a 100K+ miler car and wants it to last

on a car like a scoob or evo i would agree, however, the oil servicing for BMW is very consistent and there is no issue in the service intervals imo.

mine is almost due a insp2 (at 108k i think), oil was done at same time as insp1 last time, its still nice and fine now :]
