New Car time AGAIN , suggestions please

Well I have put my accord type R up for sale and have been getting a lot of interest in it (mainly because the cheap price) and now I cant think of what to get again :confused:

Has to be a 5 door round about the 4 meter mark and have some decent poke behind it .

Have upto £2000 with insurance not included , Any insurance group should be ok and running costs are not really an issue either .

If the wife doesn't like the size of the ATR then really you want to be looking at a 5 door hatch. I don't see how another saloon would feel any smaller, the ATR doesn't feel particularly big when driving it compared to some for sure!

Golf or a Corrolla are the only things I can think of, dunno how bargain-tastic they would be at the price though.

At this point I would be thinking that the OH can shutup and take the Accord or settle with a slower car
