These cars are awesome. I had the pleasure of sharing the driving of one to Germany and back over the weekend. Also my friend (PeteNem) took it round the ring which it coped with lovely and such a pleasure to drive. Our other friend, OllyM also came with us who also drives a 530i Sport.
I know both of them have had to change the rad fan, how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
Yours looks to be a great spec too with Sat Nav, does it have heated seats? Also notice the 18" alloys!

Assuming its the same as the E46 autobox, then yes. Its a nice box, for a slushbox, but I just am not old enough to want one, I like to be in full control.
I was ideally looking for a manual after the ancient auto box in my SLK which was pretty agricultural, however with the spec and colour combo I wanted one would be hard to come accross. I got in the works van today and went to fill up with petrol and almost stalled because I forgot about the clutch, maybe an auto was the right choice afterall. 
I don't know if it is but was in the same frame of mind as you BEFORE I drove Pete's. Now I wouldn't mind a manual or auto, no real preference to either tbh.
It was a shade over 12k with 56k on the clock, towards the pricey end of the market but it was the spec I wanted and local to me, sadly they're non heated manual seats.
