Been searching for a new car ages, started off with a budget of 5k (loan rejected), then managed to get 2k, only to spend £800 on emergency stuff which left me only £1200 to play with. Been on the search for an FTO/BMW/Mondeo for ages but nothing came up in this bracket which was worth buying, unless it was 200 miles away or something.
Found this about 35 minutes away, advertised at £1650, got him down to £1200 eventually and got this.

I know some people in here don't really like them, but as someone wrote off my car and I didn't have much money to spare, I think I've done okay...
It's the 2.0 SE, MOT'd till Feb 09, tax till September, last serviced in Jan before MOT, leather interior throughout, AC, cruise control, electric windows/sunroof, 115k milage, complete FSH, alarm and all the usual toys.
One side has some minor scratches which can be sorted in due course but other side and interior is top notch. I'm happy and only planning to have it for next couple of years whilst I sort money for mortgage n stuff.
