Heya, I'm looking for some advice.

I currently have:
2500K @ 4.8Ghz
8GB DDR3
670 GTX Power Edition
Dell U2410

I'm looking to get a new monitor and am leaning towards a Dell S2716DG.
My 670 is pretty crap as it is, so I'm going to need to upgrade that as well.

My questions are:
Would I be able to get by with a 980, or should I go with a 980ti?
Is my CPU going to be a bottleneck?

Cheers!

CPU won't be a bottleneck tho >60fps does require a lot of CPU grunt as well, but not a big deal. For 1440p 144hz, for newer games, it's 980ti mandatory. For older games? 970 or above would do well. As for the 980, imo very poor $/performance, not worth buying (new).

Considering it is a Gsync 2560 res monitor, I would say go the 980Ti is the only realistic option, simply because the next card down the 980 has only 4GB of vram, smaller bus-size and lower memory bandwidth.
