If you want pure facts then sure. This is written as a 'story' describing and explaining the events at Commodore with quotes and information from the workers there at the time. A lot more behind the scenes than you'll get from a wiki page.

Is it not easier just to go to commodore wiki page or some fan sites, probably where content comes from anyhow.
I have a copy of Brian Bagnall's first book about Commodore, On the Edge, and it's really good. He did a serious amount of original research and interviewed lots of former CBM and MOS people. There are plenty of stories about Commodore in there that haven't been told in public before. And like Duke said, it's written in a narrative story style that's excellent at capturing the chaotic culture and atmosphere of Commodore in a way that bare facts can't.

It's far and away the best history of any part of the personal computing industry that's been written, tbh. I'm glad to see the new books coming out, though, because On the Edge went into great detail about the 8-bit days at Commodore but was less comprehensive about the Amiga era. Nice to see that being rectified.
