what do people reckon ? its out soon - and looks amazing specs for the money - compared to its peers anyway - obviously all dependant on how it actually sounds - but looks promising

I had a pair of Aego-Ms and wasn't that impressed, preferred my Creative Giga T10s ! (I previously had a Logitech Z5500 which I really didnt like)

any- way- good youtube link here:, lots of reviews on net which seem positive

specs are impressive, 6 Class D amps, each Satellite has a seperate Class D amp to power tweeter/mid-range, tweeters are actualy seperate from the mid-range and are 1 inch silk-dome ones :)

subwoofer is 8 inch driver, in a 4th order bandpass enclosure :)

whats not to like ? tempted to pre-order one just on specs and initial reviews

This speaker set is the answer to my prayers. was going to replace my Creative Gigaworks T240's (****) with the Aego M's as there isn't a great deal of selection for a good PC 2.1 speaker set-up. Now I'm going to spend the extra and get these beauties.
A tad more than I wanted to spend but I don't mind so much when you see the specs for these new Corsair speakers and they [should] last a lifetime. I hope the UK price (and especailly OCUK's price) is good.

Anybody have any first hand experience with these? Really like the look of them and they seem to have gotten good reviews for computer speakers from several review sites so far.

The small size of satellites wouldn't take up much desk space which is a big factor for me. Lets hope they come in under £180.

I was expecting these to be upwards of £200 so if they are appearing sub £200 They all of a sudden become an excellent buy!

Edit:
Should be added that people thinking of getting these speakers should not be using onboard sound. A good soundcard will be needed to make the most of them.

I would wait until there are a good number of user reviews in the wild. Check out headfi and avforums to see what the experts have to say.

Out of all the usual tech sites i find x-bit labs to have the most in-depth audio reviews. Hopefully they'll have a run at these speakers.
