new cpu and mobo advice please

Hi there i currently have a phenom 2 x 4 955 be with crosshair 4 motherboard, v8 cooler and a 6990 gpu, i am selling my motherboard cpu and cooler,
I have 600 pound to upgrade. i dont know which option to buy.i use my computer for gaming only.

Intel i7 2600k, asrock *Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3 with a corsair h60

or

bulldozer(when it arrives) crosshair 5 with a corsair h60

Should i wait on the bulldozer cpu or go for intel , does anyone know if the bullzoer is going to be quicker than the intel?.
i emailed amd and they told me it should be out in november, i just dont want to wait till november then find its not as quick.
anyone give me some advice or help please?

do you think the amd bulldozer will be as good as the i5 or i7

I'm pretty sure your current mobo is going to support bulldozer. I seem to recall Asus and gigabyte saying that they would make the 890 chipset mobos compatible with BD through a bios update.

In your position I would definately wait. Seeing as you bought a premium priced mobo it makes sense to "milk it" for all it's worth. If bulldozer when released is an attractive option the money you would have spent on a mobo could go to a SSD or additional GPU......you get the idea
