I have some spare cash, and have finally decided to upgrade my AMD 2800+
It's for gaming and I'm not interested in overclocking it. (paranoid I'll kill it).

Budget of £600

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+ ?
A Motherboard, 2GB Memory and GFX card.
I'll probably want to add a second GFX card at some point.

I have a 460w Akasa PSU and a Gigabyte CPU Cooler are both ok, or do I need to replace them ?

Cheers.

I'd probably suggest something like this for about bang-on the budget, you have a very good overclocking CPU, good Ram, a solid motherboard and one of the quickest single graphics cards available. I wouldn't bother with SLi/Crossfire systems as in general they aren't worth it unless you are running at very high resolutions. Your PSU will be fine, your cooler will not be :)

couple more Questions

I need a new cooler for around £25.
I know i went over my "budget", but I was originally only going to spend £500.
And after reading a little about XP64, is it best to wait until more programs are updated ?
I'm mostly concerned with Sygate Firewall, Trend Micro AntiSpyware and Yanicsoft WinXP Manager.

Soon as I have answers I can order :)
