** NEW DUCKY - BOARDS AND KEYCAPS**

Guys I need help, which should I get the Ducky Cherry Mini MX Red or Brown? I'm new to all this mechanical shenanigans.

Also I noticed the LED backlights are of a different colour , are these changeable?

Generalization, gamers tend to favor the reds as they are quick and easy to push, supposedly a quicker response time?

Browns are an excellent middle ground for gaming and typing, personally I'm a Blues fan but am considering brown on my next keyboard (I'm also looking to buy) as they are like blues but without an extra little click on each key press.

And no, LEDs are not interchangeable :)

Thanks for the quick reply Mr Monkey. My only gripe is there is no white back light version! Blue is still cool though to be fair :p Purple, die!!

*Sigh* now I have to convince myself that I don't need a Ducky Shine 4 Fire 69 so tempted but I have a good keyboard already with my K70

Does the DS4 Fire 69 come with a wrist rest? I'm currently trying out the K95 after coming from a Razer Lycosa and gotta say those keyboards are pretty comfortable.

Got the white and the grey keycaps. White and Grey look awesome on my Shine 3 with purple LEDs, but my Shine 2 with orange LEDs looks rubbish with the white keys, grey comes through perfectly though! So that's sorted.

until a tkl ducky board with mx clears or mx greens shows up

The Mini is Dual LED so you can have Blue or Red or mix them to make Purple

No wrist rest on the Fire

Be a couple of days as it's the Mrs' birthday today, apparently me setting up a new monitor and pinging key caps is not what she wants. Pfft, whatever.

Will be going on a Shine 3 TKL with red backlighting. :)

Hmm, Fire 69 or the Ducky Mini? Decisions decisions...

Will the Cherry MX blue version of the Ducky Mini also come in a gunmetal finish?

Nice, similar setup. :D

I'm thinking of using the blacks for the function/outer edge keys and using the grays everywhere else.

Have also spotted some natty custom key caps from the States that'll be making an appearance.

Why not Zoidberg?

Poor pics, but some white caps on my Clearance Shine 3 i bought this week, the keys which are blank are working, its just the camera.
