I have managed to get myself one of the last remaining Fabia vRS Special Editions. I have to say I'm really pleased. I made an enquiry at my local dealership but never pursued it. They called me back and few days as they had managed to get hold of one.

It was good business, due to my circumstances, the car has cost me about £75 to change over from my current Fabia vRS. I am really really pleased

I don't know what number the car is yet (each car is numbered as there are only 1000 to be had) that I'll know next Thursday when I pick it up. I have to say I have had a result and a half to be honest.. CHUFFED :D

whats different to the standard vrs?

It comes with:

Leather interior,
Cruise Control,
6 CD changer and in the Octavia vRS blue.

That amounts to around about £1500 of extra's for free...

I'm so happy with my current vRS. Even giving it some beans it returns over 50mpg. I can regularly get 65mpg driving to work. Getting the special edition with these few extra's is the icing on the cake tbh.

ah, so its just bits for free.
a mate of mine has an 06 plate ( when the new model came out ) vrs with those options and zenons in red. great little car. and lovely sound.

Had a sit in one of these (non-limited) and they're a very solidly built car, impressive stuff. Of course half the button and knobs are found on most Audis and VWs but the price was awesome at about £12k. Not bad for a brand new car.

I was pondering one of these but have been offered an 06 plate in black with low miles or a 55 in silver with xenons for quite a bit less than they offered the SE for. Do love the leather though, decent quality.

I just got out of mine and couldn't see any cream in the interior.

LOL, me too. Plenty of silvery grey tho.

The secret to keeping it clean is Scotchguard. £4 a tin from a your local DIY warehouse and 20 mins effort every 12 months.

I was half tempted by a vRS LE, but I've heard so many bad things about the drivability on the EU4 engines I'll quite happily keep my 05 car. If they'd stuck a PD150 in there would have been a different matter. Mine's been faultless apart from a faulty high level brake light. Shame I might have to sell it to raise some cash. :(

Talking about getting lowered, I kind of like what this guy has done to his.. thinking along the same line tbh.

I dont like modified cars, but I think this is a good job.

He has put vW mk4 18in Alloy wheels and lowered it using Weitec Hicon TX fully adjustable coilovers. I think he has done a really nice job.

Love what he's done to that red one. Especially the colour coded front grill. Transforms it from a cheap proton looking thing to something actually quite stylish. I'm tempted by one after seeing that one!
