New Final Fantasy Xl Trailer to download on xbox360 Marketplace

It appeared yesterday iirc, same time as that Amped demo. It did nothing to promote the game to me, and did quite the opposite tbh. Had a massive amount of tearing on that too, never seen that before.

Agree 100%. It's turned a potential buyer into a definate avoider. The tearing I can live with, it's prerendered scenes and probably the viewers issue not the game, but the game itself, the locations, graphics, action, looked abismal!
 
Yeah, it really does look like a lazy version of the game, which is a shame, because with the Xbox Live! network it will probably be the best version.

Although I am an avid fighter against graphics before gameplay this has annoyed me, thats not to say I won't pick it up in the future, but, as it is, I will be sticking with Oblivion.
 
Seriously the PC version of this looks so much better, I played it for about a year when it came out in the states. Its a fantastic game though!

dont know why when it disconnects from live to play, one of the big gripes people have about it is that there are no live features with the game.
The game is a grind fest and i played it for about 6 months aswell, would have been best left on the PS2 and PC, i honestly dont know why its on the 360, although i think i read a rumour about it leading to another thing from Square Enix because of it.
They should justa payed blizzard a small fortune and got WoW on the 360 imho

The incredible thing is, I've always been aware it was an offline only title... hell knows why I wrote that. I blame tiredness. Ignore me please :).

I'm confused, since when is Final Fantasy Xl an offline only title - Its a MMORPG?

PC version looked EXACTLY the same to me, I played on a x800 xt and the 360 version was identical in every way.

Well I played the Beta on the 360 and it was nothing like that on the PC, the PC version had some really nice bump mapping, and the Beta on the 360 didn't - thats not to say the final release hasn't though.

Yeah I dont think it was on by default, really did look nice though!
