Need some sort of process to get existing active threads moved in there.
Incidentally I remember when this idea was mooted a few years ago. My view at the time was that it's a shame, because while I primarily post in football threads, I also sometimes spie (geddit?) other threads of interest to me regarding other sports. I think my 'exiling' the football fans, there is a danger of them not entering the main sports forum so often, and thus reducing the volume of quality posting.
That said, it would annoy me if I wasn't into football seeing all these footie threads.

DoneI like the link on the forums page to the sub-forum, will the same be done for Motorsport?
They are being moved as we speak, RTM any that you feel have been missed though an I'm sure they will get moved.

Should Scottish football matters go in this new forum too or does they not count as real football?
Good idea though, the main forum was getting a little bit swamped at times. I just hope it doesn't reduce the amount of people posting in the main forum as there may be less inclination to check it if ones interest is predominantly football.
