I can't seem to manage to get exposures or colours right when taking shots of snow, granted i have only had two chances to do this so guess i need more practice.

Any way, after failing to get to work this morning, (my road is a deathtrap!) i walked over to the forest about 10 mins from my doorstop. Got there nice and early so views weren't spoiled by too many people and there was still a lot of untrodden snow. (not in these pics though)

So comments please, or how i could improve them.

C & C Welcomed as always

The raw simplistic nature of 5 is brilliant.

Personally, for 1, i'd liked to have seen the path down the middle, more of a leading line effect. I found myself wanting to scroll to the right as i felt i was missing something. Still a cracking shot though!

5 does it for me. I like 1 too, but there's something about cropping of treetops which bothers me, even when I do it. I don't know how/where to crop so it looks best.

thanks for all the comments guys. Really not sure why i went for the path to the right in the first shot. I think it cause the trees on the right weren't particularly nice. Might try and go back tomorrow if it's still there.

First and last photos do it for me. The first has a different perspective with the path being a third into the image rather than at the center, where it is commonly placed. The last shot again triumphs through perspective, the empty space framing the leaf well, true minimalism!
