Hi all,

Looking to build a good gaming PC for the next few years to play some old and new releases.

Work in IT but its been a while since I have got my hands dirty in actually building however willing to give it a shot.

Guidance on the graphics card and alternatives and the cooling and anywhere to look at shaving off a few ££££.

Cheers

The B grade on eis a waste of money as you can get new 3070 for cheaper and a Ti version new for £30 more!

Dual and triple fan cards both cheaper then the b grade one.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,089.98 (includes delivery: £0.00)

My basket at OcUK:

As your using a micro atx board why not go micro atx case.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £64.99 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Its a great case with good airflow as I have built a pc in one for a friend and iof you dont want the RGB there is acheaper non rgb version.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £52.99 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Both support Graphics cards up to 345 mm supported, CPU coolers up to 190 mm, PSUs up to 200 mm

Samsung are good drives but over priced IMHO. WD will do exactly the same for less

Total: £129.98 (includes delivery: £0.00)

This is what i'd get for the same ~£1600 budget

Intel Core i7-12700F 2.1 GHz 12-Core Processor
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Asus GeForce RTX 3080 12GB LHR 12 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card
KOLINK Citadel Mesh RGB MicroATX Mini Tower Case
MSI MPG A-GF 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

8p cores, a better mobo, 12gb 3080 and a pcie4 ssd
obviously not all the components are stocked (or the best price) at OCUK
