My GH3 Les Paul thing has broken, i want to replace it but not sure what to get instead can anybody offer any advice

ideally id have a go on the RB2 stuff but im beginning to think thats a myth.

this is for the xbox just in case..
 
Pretty sure you can contact them through their website and get a new one sent out for free btw.

Just follow this through, you can use your Les Paul serial number and it will go through, youll get a World Tour guitar as a replacement within 3 days and you dont need to send your old one off, bit silly as I know a lot of people that have been doing it to claim free guitars as apparently they dont check the serial numbers. Someone I use to know even got every single part of the drumkit delivered to 5 different addresses with made up serial codes so he got the whole set free. \o/

Is the replacement process as simple for Rock Band instruments? My RB guitar from an instrument pack has never worked properly and has now stopped working altogether (can't strum down, only up).
 
my 2nd guitar worked ok. Last 4 digits are hard to read though. However it still failed.

Been having issues with mine a lot, couldn't find a return form for GH3 guitars so just put the code in tonight as a World Tour one and seemed to work fine, time will tell if I get a replacement!
 
Yea there was quite a big thing about this not long ago as there was a slight fault with the RMA process where by you didnt need to enter the serial and could just click the next button. As you dont have to send your old guitar back or anything people were just claiming and recieving free guitars! According to the thread I read 700,000 guitars had been claimed before someone realised lol. Thing is even now apparently you can get them to go through by just trying random numbers, bit silly.
 
slapped my RMA in will see how it goes. can manage a week with a dodgy orange button i suppose.

ideally id wait for RB2 / Metallica / Beatles before purchasing
 
Best thing to do is fix the GH3 LP by hard wiring the neck (assuming it's frets dropping/not working correctly).

I can't paste the link (thanks Chrome you P.O.S) but go to www.scorehero.com, hit the forums and the hardware forum for a guide. It's pretty easy, I managed it with speaker wire and it was perfect until the wireless died on it.

I'm interested in this RMA process but must be blind when clicking that link further up, what do I do? :) Shame they send a world tour guitar :/
 
hmm i didnt get this.

they gave me a RMA number and said go check on their site.

which ive done (i know its only been a day) but says RMA Completed - no tracking number.
 
Sorry to thread hijack but I have the GHWT drum set and even though they sent me the cable to change sensitivity it's still pretty bad. The two cymbals even on max sensitivity don't pick up hits all the time. Is it possibly to get new cymabls from red octane for free?

I have GHIII, GHWT, RB & RB2 on PS3 but unsure whether to get the RB2 band in a box when out as the instruments are meant to be good and drumming is harder using the GHWT drums than the RB ones I used at my friends.
